I was able to take part in a typography workshop around how to create my own typefaces, and this was the result.

Firstly we began to look at visual references to get some inspiration then started to draw out letters on grid paper. After drawing a few different ideas, I eventually figured out a system that could work consistently to create a typeface for various letter forms.

I then started to work digitally, taking my drawings into illustrator. Once I had made a few letters on illustrator I then decided to continue on and make a whole alphabet of letters in my new typeface.

Overall, creating a typeface was something I had never done before, so this was exciting for me, resulting in the creation of a quirky and funky typeface.
