Warner Bros. DISCOVERY UPFRONT

This event saw the launch of Warner Bros. Discovery into the marketplace in New Zealand as a single entity. The goal was for the event to be spectacular and showcase all the company has to offer, as a global leader in the media market. The overall theme was ‘Welcome to our World’, introducing consumers and clients into the new age that is Warner Bros. Discovery.

My role throughout this process was to help create ideas for how we could bring this event to life through print, digital and physical activations throughout the evening. Working alongside my team in Auckland and other designers in Australia, we created a design experience that encapsulated the evening’s theme and WOW’d the audience.

The initial presentation and opening section of the night showcased the brand, using the iconic blue and golds of Warner Brothers, giving it a luxurious and premium feel. This highlighted the history of the brand and the many amazing achievements over the last 100 years in business.

The second half of the evening involved an activation area, where we pushed the design from a traditional, classic feel, into a fun and playful neon wonderland. The various activations were linked to different channels that are under the umbrella of Warner Bros. Discovery, including; Cartoon Network, Looney Tunes, DC, Three, ThreeNow, Rush and Eden. These involved a games arcade, a lolly pick n’ mix, sports bar and premium lounge bar.
