cove linen co.

This was a brief for NZ Merchants and was completed during my first few months working at Origami Ltd. The client was introducing a new brand for them, to be called ‘Cove Linen Co.’ which was to be sold through Bed Bath and Beyond.

Cove is the perfect blend of coastal chic and effortless elegance.  

The hero typeface used in the logo is elegant and refined. The spaced-out kerning adds a feeling of effortless elegance. The accompanying hand drawn typeface reflects the coastal aspect of the brand. Having the logo housed in a circle gives it an organic and natural feel that is modern, polished and sophisticated.

The soft pink and deep blue colour combination was inspired by the blue of the ocean and Hampton like striped umbrellas, mixing natural blues and soft pinks that you might see in a summer sunset or in seashells as you stroll along the beach.

The final touchpoints produced were a logo design, product tags, web design, social media and extras (candles, diffusers etc).
